Re: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] VFD / phase converter

First I would like to thank everyone for answering my question
about which wires to connect.

I seem to recall reading in some catalog (J&L I think) that
the warrenty on a Jet mill with a DRO install would be voided
if a certain type of phase converter was used. I thing that
the type they didn't want used was a static converted. I also
seem to recall that there can be problems with some NC machines
when used with the wrong type of converter. Has something to
do with deriving single phase power from the 3 phase to drive
the electronics. Has anyone ever heard any thing about this?
