Jet machines draw more current because of there imported motors and
therfore Jet has made a deal with a phase converter comapny that will
promote there phase converters. When a company sells a phase converter
they sell it based on HP not Current when infact since you are useing an
imported motor on jet equipment the HP may be the same but the current
can be 3 times higher and therefore they sell you a torque boster or a
larger pahse converter with a lower HP rating and tell you it is a
match.
If you contact J&L AT 18005219520 and ask for ext 7762 (Beth Miline) she
can sell you a unit that is an inverter that will give you three phase
and VS all in one.
