I have 2 cnc mills that originally were wired for 3 phase. I rewired
the input to separate 220v lines for the controls. These 220v lines
go back to the service breaker box. This isolates the controls from
any problems caused by a 'psuedo' 3 phase leg. An added advantage is
being able to program and/or setup the machine without running a
3ph converter. I only need the converter to run the spindles.
