I've retrofitted 3 Bridgeport knee mills with the EMC/STG combination and I
can say without reservation that it just comes up and works (albeit after
getting the emc.ini file right). I know of several other machines running
this combination as well.

There was a company called Bestsoft that had a product called Wim PCNC, but
they seem to have disappeared. The website http://www.bestsoft.com is
apparently under the control of a cybersquatter now...
