Hi Steven
I macined mine at around 2000rpm with standard carbide tooling - With plenty
of coolant, and 30-40 thou deep cuts, it was suprisingly easy.
No need to heat it up or weld lumps to it. Carbide (brazed tip or indexable)
makes short work of the case hardened layer.
