Newcomer

Hi,

I'm new to the list, and am currently planning constructing a CNC
machine, I've taken various areas in turn to check what I can manage before
committing money to expensive hardware, things are expensive here in South
Africa !. I've managed a PIC based stepper controller, having already
'mastered' Eagle for PCB production I have tackled converting an Eagle
layout into KCam for drilling and milling, but I am now a little stuck.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or offer any information
on a parallel port interface between KCam and the actual stepper motors, I
would prefer something I could make myself being pretty OK with electronics,
PIC and computer interfaces etc.


Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
