You end up paying a lot more for it, and doing a lot more rewiring, too.
Again, the tach would not be used. The R90H takes the step/direction
signals directly, so it does not need the R991H.
But, I think it would be a shame to rip out good true servo amps and
replace them with imitation step/dir servos. Especially if your machine
has handwheels, you defeat the ability to use the machine in manual mode,
with the CNC control acting as a DRO.
