Derek,sounds like a good way,do you trace with a mouse or a digital pen or
something .

I agree with John. Raster to vector converters suck. Most of the
drawings I work with fit in a normal scanner. I do a high-res scan
and then import the bitmap into my cad program. (Rhino) Then I
simply trace lines arcs and splines over the scan. Seems to work much
faster and better that way.
