Dear Sir:
We made PWM motor drivers based on Unitrode UC3637 IC; now they have
a version UC3638 which appears to be improved. The 3637 did a good
job; you had ability to delay turn-on of one pair in the H bridge in
order to limit cross-conduction. The built-in amplifier was not of
high enough quality for our operation, however.
I think they are now a part of Texas Instruments.
