that some thinking is needed.
is the machine better than you expected ? is this machine in near
perfect conditon and with mounting plate locations and with perfect
dovetails ?
It is possible that this machine is just all put together correctly
and is a better base than a RF.
Call the customer service as shipping is not cheap and you may be the
one paying to return it and to get the new RF. maybe get them to
toss in a bunch of MT arbor threaded adapters for their mistake ?
(I'd go for the list price of adapters equal to return shipping costs)
every time the R8 vs the MT discussion come up, there is no clear
winner.
The question about this machine might be "is THIS better for the
purpose?"
