The extra holes were to match at least three different breakout boards.
Two were from Steve at PMDX. Both his basic card and the complete one
that we used for the article. The third was for the cncKITS.com basic boards.

My apologies. Iäm of the impression that I sent something but am not
at home for the next couple of weeks. I know that Roland and I came up
with a price that was well below the current cost for the used machine.
I copied the list of items purchased from Idot and thought Iäd sent it.

To answer your thoughts about compatability with these small boards,
I've not seen one that would not run the BDI 2.18+ but then I've only
worked with six or eight of them.
