motor cables connection

Hi everyone,

How does people on this list solder their motor cables? And what kind
of connector do they use? Do they permanently solder the original
motor cable to extension cable terminating in some connector at the
driver casing? (one connector)

The configuration I have now is (2 connectors) to crimp a local
version of the male "Molex connector", then use an extension cable
with a local female "molex connector" at one end and a 4-pins round
DIN connector with screw ".........". I do this to facilitate the
disconnection of the motor from the drive for hand cranking.

Anyone else faing frequent problems with cables? Am thinking of
redoing the cables from scratch.
