Is there not a rule about a kink that is being straightened turning into
two bows opposing it ?

What is the heat treat process like ? Can it be re-done (un-done ?) in a
small furnace with temperature control ?

And are they not supposed to check the items after manufacture and before
shipping ? Maybe this is why they are inexpensive ?
