Look at DeskCNC $300. It has outline tracing and 3D from color
conversions. There are many image adjustment and filter options that
allow you to manipulate the image to improve/enhance ( or mess up)
the final part. These can improve the quality of the carving.
However, the quality of the image will drive the quality of the
output. Garbage in Garbage out.
