It's bad enough now having to scroll down 5 reams of pages to get to
the messages.
If you increase the blurb to include this you might as well ban
everybody as we won't have time to go dancing down load of pages.

If you do insist on putting this on the home site can we have an on
topic discussion on the best 89" monitor to buy??

item would have no meaning if you removed the CNC part it is on
topic. On the other hand if the answer is identical without the CNC
in the question it is not an appropriate topic. As an example if you
ask "how do I machine Delrin on my CNC machine?" it is off topic as
it is really a general shop question. Machining Delrin on a CNC
machine is no different than machining it on a manual machine. If the
question is "Will Delrin work as a good split nut on my home designed
CNC router ?" that would be on topic as it is specific to CNC as the
wear and acceptable backlash are different than on a manual machine.

Basically it works like this: Blatant violation of well know rules
get immediate moderation or banning (reserved for spam, porn,
software piracy, unsociable behavior). Obvious violations that are
questionable in intent (they may have though it was OK) get stern
warning. Pushing the envelope, but not clearly off topic gets not so
subtle reminders.
