Details on Sherline Price Increase

Just a heads up for anyone that is considering Sherline items for their
CNC machine or has one and still wants some more accessories.

Sherline has announced a price increase effective October 1. That by
itself is not big news to anyone. But, what has not been discussed as
far as I know is the change they are making in the dealer margins. Most
(all?) the Internet dealers, myself included, have been able to offer
the great discounts we do because of the very generous drop ship
program. Sherline is changing the policy on this in an effort to
eliminate the deep discounting on the web. With the new dealer prices
Internet dealers will have to reduce their discount by 10% to make the
same amount. This is in addition to the list price increase that is
averaging about 10% - 15% making it effectively a 20% - 25% increase in
the cost of Sherline items.

I have also update my e-commerce site to show the new list price, what
my new Internet price will be and my current deep discount selling
price. On the site the prices are as follows:
List Price = The New October 1 Sherline List Price
Our Price = What I will be selling it for on the Internet with the cut
in dealer margins
Sale Price = What you can get it for now

Hope some of you are able to take advantage of this opportunity to get
the equipment you have been looking at before the price goes way up.
