Power supply transformer setup questions...

Is there a method of wiring two transformers of the same voltage together to
increase the amperage that they can supply? If possible, how should I wire
this up to produce a power supply? Is this a safe idea for wiring up gecko
G201 drives?
I'm looking to go from 50VAC to 70VDC.
The three stepper motors I'm going to use are: two 3V/3Amp, one 4.2V/3.5Amp.
The sum of amperage required for the motors is 10AMPs. So I require 6.7amps
(2/3rds of sum).
The transformers I'm looking to _some how_ link together are:
167P50 (50VAC/5Amp)
http://sales.digikey.com/scripts/sales.dll?action=lineitem;itemseq=14201596
167L50 (50VAC/2AMP)
http://sales.digikey.com/scripts/sales.dll?action=lineitem;itemseq=14201598
Additional transfers from hammond manufacturing are listed here:
http://www.hammondmanufacturing.com/5cpwr.htm
Also, there is this little vexta stepper motor I have that I may want to use
for a rotary table:
Vexta PK569AUHA (2.8Amp/0.55 oHm (so 1.54V??))
Is there a way I can add this drive into the power supply, or should I build
a completely different power supply for this axis? If I use 50V to this
little motor, it's going to cook itself.
So far, I have the gecko's and the motors... I would like input on how I
should setup my power supply, thanks.
