I will be replacing the ACME screw with ball screws .2 lead. I
would really like to be able to cut wood and plastic at 60ipm max
and rapid around 100ipm. I would also like to cut Aluminum and Steel
(much slower). I currently have 3 servo motors peek torque of
430oz_in 1700rpm I am using Gecko G320 drives. I am tempted to sell
my motors for 600oz_in motors 900rpm found on Camtronics web site.
I need some advice form someone who has practical experience.
Thanks for the help. I am in need of it.
