Re: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Specs on Shinano Stepper motor

I was finally able to track down part numbers and found that these
motors are replacement parts for the X-Axis feed on a Calcomp TechJet
5324. The controller board attached to the back of the motor is a
proprietary board designed to make the stepper function as a servo.
The design is patented and the input requirements to get it to
function aare far more complex than simple stepper controller
signals. So... the boards come off and I use the motors as nice 8
wire bi-polar steppers.
