You'd want around 60V for maximum performance. The amperage
would depend on how many motors you drive simultaneously (and
how hard you drive them). If this is for a Bridgeport or
larger sized machine, the power supply kit is appropriate.

My normal supplies are 75VDC (mostly used for no-compromise
servo installations on bigger machinery), but I can special
order for a 60VDC output (and a 6 week delay).

BTW, I am currently out of stock (because of a shortage of
capacitors). The new capacitors coming in mid-November are
going to be 45% bigger - a whopping 68,000uF. I'll be calling
that the BEaST Ultra (ultra high reserve, ultra low ripple).

It might be way overkill for your machine, but there is no
finer power supply to drive the biggest machine tools the
Gecko's are capable of handling!
