The EMC live is a "rc" that is release candidate state still. But by all
means download it and take a look and give feed back about your install
and such. I boots off the CD and installs nothing to the HDD so it can
be demoed on any box.

the Live distro Guru can answer questions that might bore the folks here.

As far as the full Red Hat based distro goes you should be running the
7.2 version for a more up to date version of EMC.
