There are BobCAD users on the list. Generally it is considered inferior
to Vector or Dolphin which you can get for about the same price. From
what I have read, the main complaints are bugs that do not get resolved,
major league pushy sales people, promised upgrades that take very
extended times to deliver. I am personally a Vector, DeskCNC, and a
Visual Mill user. My suggestions is to look at DeskCNC, Vector, or
Dolphin. DeskCNC is $300 and with an optional controller card it is both
a CAM solution and a machine controller. Vector and Dolphin both have
list specials that make they about the price you are being quotes on
BobCAD.
