I wrote to the Deskcnc people and am still awaiting a
response, but I am interested to find out if the
deskcnc has any CAD capabilities? Can I design
something in it and then have it also run the machine,
or do I need to buy differant software such as Vector
to design in, save the work to a file and open it in
deskcnc to run the machine? Also, I am building a 4' X
4' or 6' router table, would using the deskcnc
controller with gecko drives connected to steppers be
a good system?
P.S. What I want to do is typical router table stuff,
I.E. Images in wood, raised lettering, carving signs,
plexiglass, inlay work, etc. etc.
