I have also made a modular spindle holder for my gantry mill. No quick
change but I should rapidly be able to bolt on routers, low speed spindles,
single point tools, etc.

I am thinking of an add on hollow lathe spindle that mounts on the mill bed.
With multiple single point tools in the Z I could do cnc lathe work.
I anticipate having a lot of wooden knobs to make.
