Re: Anyone using a cold air gun?

I picked up a used vortec model 606 from boeing surplus for $5 a year
or so ago and tossed it in a drawer. This thread made me curious how
it would work with my smallish (2hp) air compressor, so I hooked it
up.

Man! does it drain the 11 gal tank fast! No way the compressor can
keep up! On the other hand, I was able to produce frost with it for
the few seconds that it had 130psi, so I guess they really do work
somewhat.

Guess it goes back in the junk drawer like so many other things from
Boeing Surplus that seemed like a must have. :-/
