Would you think that putting the chain and sprockets together and
then run them for the initial breaking period before the wax dip ?
I have 8 L gears for a series of belts to be driven from a central
motor and to power a pair of gears. the 60 inches from side to side
was too far for a single belt so I am getting the parts together for
a middle span jackshaft or each side. that would be a minimum of 4
belts, possibly 6. yeah, adjustments will be a horrible task.
a chain would be MUCH easier.
I'm working on a plasma/router table to do aluminium sheet metal
parts. 4 ft x 8 ft work envelope.
