1/2 winding current selection ?

I have some Vexta 400 step per rev, 2AMP, 2.25 Ohm, 6 wire motors
that I need to run in 1/2 winding mode. I read something a short
while ago on one of the groups about reducing the current for this
mode but I can't seem to locate it. How much should I reduce the
current for 1/2 winding mode?
