It is a tape drive reel hub motor, and is in fact a servo motor. It
would be insane
to put a brush motor on a disk drive! It is designed to work very smoothly
at low speeds. You probably saw the phrase "memory drive". Ignore
Goldmine's lack of knowledge of the original purpose for these motors.
