Mike,
Take a look at the GrizHFMinimill group starting
at message 2460 for an in depth discussion of this
proposal. Net-out is that it appears to be an idea
that someone floated, but did not try. In general
there was considerable doubt about whether it would
really accomplish much. I had tried a variant of this
idea on an X-Y table myself, with little improvement.
As a result, I dropped trying this tweak on my mill.
