You mention that you are CNC'ing a larger mill. I was wondering who's
components you are using. I'm kinda narrowing in on the DesKAM suite,
their WinNC processor, the Gecko drivers, motors TBD. Looking at the
Grizzly 9x48 BP Clone. Maybe Enco, we'll see.

BTW - I have a Grizzly Mill / Drill that I use manually. I am not
going to CNC that now. If I did it would only be for drilling
operations and maybe some light surfacing or other light cuts. So I
agree, if you are making stuff in any quantity the flex in the bench
top machines is to much.

BUT, if one goes slow, uses sharp tools, soft materials, and takes
light cuts, you can get very nice results. Right on about the coolant
and lubrication remarks. But, again, it can be pulled off. I did it.
If you want pics of my frankenstein coolant system, let me know. I'll
e-mail directly. Probably OT.

Anyway a run down of your equipment list would be helpful.
