A Small Magnetic Pickup and sensor can be pulled out of almost any older VCR
you might have lying around. Pull it off the bottom of the Video Head
assembly.
Typically all you have to do is cross-reference the Transistor or Mosfet
Online to get a Pinout, and then go from there...
Also, there is an optical one located on one of the Reel Drive Mechanism for
the video tape.
Heck, it might save you some cash. Good luck.
