Thanks for the responses. I can see that there are more than a few
who would want to have a faster step rate, not sure of Han's 300,000
you mention is exceptional, or more common than I might think.

I'm more familiar with the falloff of power in a stepper than the
useable high speed power of a servo, so that make a huge difference
in engineering.

Also, I was thinking 90k or 100k hz as the max. And just doubling
the speed of the drivers seems like a way past mismatched hardware.
When you talk about 300,000 hz,that just, Ballendo says 'blows the
doors off' the current high limit of PC software and parallel ports.
