Upgrade changed their name/ownership, I'm drawing a blank right
now. I think they no longer make the retrofits, they've gone on to
making complete machines. I have one of their retrofits on a
Hardinge chucker with Fagor control, $16K, paid for itself in a
matter of months.

The other major maker of retrofits is Omniturn. Similar price to
the Upgrade retros. They build their own control.

When I was shopping for the retrofit I listened to sales pitches
from both companies and chose the people I thought told the fewest
lies.

PS, I'm not joking about the lies, but then ALL machine tool sales
people lie, some just don't know when they're doing it.
