I finally got this figured out of the several sensors
I had I picked one with a broken emitter for testing
and struggled trying to get it to do someting.
After many unsuccessful attempts of testing I turned
on the kitchen light because it was getting dark to
my surprise all of a sudden my voltage meter was showing
a current on the detector infrared dose work with
regular light.
From there it was quick work to figure out that the
emitter was not working all along.
Seams those cheap sensors 2 for a $1.00 seam too work
for a home sensor after all.
They will need to be shielded from
direct outside light so, not a big problem.
If anyone is interested in a wiring diagram made by a
none electrician for other none electricians contact
me off-line.
