Jeff,
You mention timer relays, so I assume you want an automatic type. As
others have mentioned, Enco sells the chinese clone ofthe Bijur LC-5
(I think) for about 40 bucks. Add a backplate, gearmotor, cam, and
switch, so that it turns one rev. per "actuation". Then it's a matter
of how you're going to send it that start pulse every so many hours
of machine operation...
I'm gonna ask Art to add this capability to Mach2, since I already
asked for a Hobbs type timer (total machine running time). Should be
easy enough to pulse every so many minutes/hours of operation...
Otherwise, you could use a 555, or some other type of timer. Both
would be easy, and inexpensive.
