These are the top of the line boards with extra bells and whistles.

If you are using Gecko's you don't need optos on you step and dir
lines.

Some peole use a db25 connector from radio shack and then solder the
wires in, but that is really low tech.

I built a couple breakout boards, some with LED's, some with relays,
and I keep putting them into a closed box and never see them.

Bottom line is that most any will work just fine. Check the options
and see if you need the options or if they are somehting you will
never use.
