Even with a rotary, make sure the inverter, the control 220/120 transformer
and other loads are on the input lines of the rotary. I'd have a electrician
check the outputs on the 3 phase transformer for the stepper drives. (cabinet
in the back in the left middle w 3 stacks) I think if my memory serves me, it
should be 68 volts per phase..

If you had some way of getting around the 3 phase stepper drives, you'd not
need 3 phase in the machine now you have a inverter.

DO you have manuals? I have a friend on another board who scanned a
bridgeport boss manual onto cdrom.. Them schematics are mighty helpful if
you want to repair or work on a boss type system. Mine bears no
resemblance to the orginal machine, except I reused the terminal strips,
capacitors, 220/120 120/24vdc transformer.
I have some spare boss parts somewhere. Bridgeport did the motors
unipolar. I have my machine running bipolar Larken cobra16 drives at 8
amps.. With all the work I did to mine it runs about as fast as it did stock.. 110
ipm. (same with racecars sometimes) Spence Jorgensen (HSM board) was
using a drip feed with a stock boss, it worked for him, not me...
