Ballendo. The quick and dirty answer I gave you in the beginning

easy to build servo controls for larger motors out there because
it's a pretty complex design for even a seasoned engineer. All of
us understand the journey vs destination philosophy. There are some
things in this hobby that make sense to build and others to buy
because they would just require too much effort for what you would
get. A learning experience has value in and of itself but you don't
always have to know how every little piece works in order to enjoy
and learn. I used to have a boss that told me when I would start
into great detail about a question he asked "I don't want to know
how to build a watch, just what time it is!"
There are plenty of challenges in building your own CNC machine
(even) if you buy everything ready made and put it together.
If the argument is that you don't have enough money to buy ready-
made servo controllers than I doubt you would want to spend the time
and money to build it from descreet parts.
Your question did not cause a problem. Evidently my response to
point you to a low cost solution caused Mr B to knash his teeth. I
didn't do it to kill your spirit or quest for learning.
If you are interested in servo's, by all means find all the
information you can and play with them...they are fascinating. When
you want them to move reliablily on a machine of your design I
recommend considering the packaged units.
Last response on my part to this thread.
Now, lets build some CNC stuff!
