I think the problem is most code is written for a particular part/machine.
Now if someone was to make a complete project where they provided plans and
the code you might be able to make it work once you figure out if your
machine has the same capabilities as the authors. Feeds, travel limits,
spindle speed/power.......etc. These things all make big differences in how
you would cut a part. At work I couldn't expect the toolroom mill to run a
program written for the vertical machining centers without modification. And
then there is the Mac Turn 5 1/2 axis of fun.
