Tom, all machines will require repair at one time or the other. More use =
more repair. All will have something break, wear, or go out of adjustment
sooner or later. All will require being tuned and setup on arrival at your
shop. Purchasing a good used machine that still has some life in it will
usually give you a better machine overall than an Import.

If you go with a new import, plan on spending around 40 hours cleaning,
de-burring, and overall setup after you have it leveled and bolted to the
floor.

If you go with a used machine, some of this time will not be necessary, but
you still need to do a complete setup on it at its new location.
