Hi Doug
I teach CAM here in New Zealand and to meet your requirements (which are
similar to ours) We use an education version of Edgecam.(www.pathtrace.com)
It has the bonus of being able to load Solidworks (SLDPRT and X_T) as well
as IPT files from Inventor.
Rhino is no problem in IGS or X_T files depending on how the model was
created.
DXF and DWG loaders are also included.
More capable than some, the local NZ agent has provided good traning
material.
I also have used the Cardinal Engineering Mills from Roland Freidstadt (
cardinal.eng@...)
