Hi Al

I'm one of the guys that posted a similar question. Actually the same
exact question.

The answer I got was yes it is possible but I never got a pointer on how
to do so. There might be something in the documentation, which can be
downloaded. Frankly though I've been side tracked by house remodeling
issues so haven't looked into it recently. The DRO thing is not my
primary focus as CNC is where my interests lay.

I don't see EMC as over kill for this. I actually see it as a nice
stepping stone to CNC. That is your DRO would not change as you
upgrade to CNC.
