If the Centent is similar to the Gecko on it's inputs, you DON'T need the PC
ground hooked up to it-just the 5V, the Step, and the Direction.
Check to be sure that the step signal actually appears at the Centent drive
input terminal-(you can measure this with a voltmeter to the 5V).
Just for grins, try reversing you step and dir polarity on the Ports & Pins
setup screen- if they are not active low, chack the active low boxes-if they
are active low, uncheck them.

No, the distance is perfect. Right now it's 2000 steps per inch.
So what your saying is I need to run the ground from the pc to pin
13 ground on the Centents?
Sorry for my ignorance. Mechanics and programming comes easier then
electrical wiring.
