Are you measuring the voltage change WITH THE wire hooked up to the Centent?

How is it wired; are you going direct from Parallel port to the drive, or
are you using buffers/isolators/breakout board etc between the 2?

But that is the problem. The voltage does change from 0v to 4v and
it matches the direction of mach2 perfectly.

I tryed changing the low active boxes and it didn't do anything.
