above 60 Hz, a motor designed for 230V at 60 Hz will have declining
torque to keep constant HP. So, at 120 Hz, torque will be 1/2 of the
60 Hz nominal. This is neglecting other losses, iron, fan, etc. so the
actual
torque might be just a little less.
