Hi Dennis

Can't help you on the servos except to say you are probably heading in the
right direction. If your spindle motor is like the one on my
Cintimatic-----three phase, 460 volt only, two-speed (has 6 leads) there is
an easy solution if you have three phase 230 volts available. Just use an
appropriately sized three phase 230/460 transformer to step the voltage up
from 230 to 460. If you have 208 volts three phase, get a transformer that
also has 208 volt taps. If the motor is not a two speed then it is probably
a 9-lead motor and can be rewired for the lower voltage very easily. Of
course all this is assuming you have three phase power available. If you
only have single phase, it gets a little more complicated but it can be
done. Hope this will help.

Regards,
Bob
