Yes, I am pretty sure they are servos. I am not sure about the encoders.
I am hoping it has encoders rather than some older technology.

Not sure about the voltage issue. I had considered the transformer/VFD
route, but figured it would be prohibitively expensive. I only have
single phase available, so that would require a phase converter as well
right?
