after the word SOLENOID

If not, you may have to join the people that live at Wal Mart.

That's where I started. 600,000 hits

and it seems that solenoid valves and solenoid switches and
automotive starter solenoids all come up in that mess.

Bunch of stuff on the physics that a coil of wire and an electrical
current is a solenoid.

I was hoping that there would be a tutorial that someone has read that
would offer the why's and where'fores of the pressure or force a
solenoid would deliver.

Often a manufacturer will have such a paper to help determine what
part is best for the application.

And, I was hoping someone on here could offer some links.
