Nathan,
Remember to calculate the RMS from the power supply. When AC from the transformer goes through a bridge rectifier the voltage in DC will be considerably higher. The calculation is: AC secondary voltage X 1.414 = the DC voltage off of the bridge rectifier. The two blank terminals on the bridge are for input AC from your transformer and the + and - are your DC out.

Les mentioned rewiring the 110V transformer on a BP Boss to 55V and
using some capacitors and a bridge rectifier from the control
cabinet to power geckos. It makes sense to me why this would work,
but I need a lot of help with the details of how to do this.
(meaning that I know from the part name what these things do, but I
don't know what they look like, where they are, or how to wire them)
Thanks
Nathan
