Greetings
I also have the AD VFD on a J head.
Mine does that as it comes to a stop and if I try to run it very slow. Kind
of a poping and clanging sound.
The drive never has faulted since I adjusted the De-ACC time. I had set it
too short and was it was generating an over current fault.
I think it is in the J head and not the motor or VFD.
